The ‘team’ at ARMAS includes internationally recognized designers, product innovators, craftsmen, diamond specialists, experienced management and service oriented & well-trained staff. The company has its own manufacturing facilities located in Valenza, Italy, where Armas enjoys goldsmiths taking pride in their craftsman ship skills, where each piece being made is a work of art. All diamonds which are hand set and specially selected in Antwerp, the diamond center of the world, are of the highest quality for cut and polish.
Armas was founded in 1998 in Antwerp, Belgium by Ofer Cohen and his wife Sirpa. The company was named Armas – meaning "truelove”after grandfather Armas , the creative shoemaker from St. Michaels, Finland, who’s perfectionism and creativity formed the company’s vision of never making less than the best manmade can offer.
The company is being managed by its founding Cohen family in Antwerp, Belgium, but it has grown to become an international enterprise with its joint venture partner, SV Group, that joined Armas company in 2009. Alongwith S.V.Group, the world’s largest supplier of polished diamonds up to one carat, as strategic partner, Armas has gained further support and access to the finest diamonds, certified and guaranteed "conflict free”, and a worldwide distribution network of its products. S V Group is well established in the International Diamond Industry from over 40 years.
